Why an apprenticeship?

Because I liked the fact I could work as well as learning something new or extending on what I already knew.

Tell me about your apprenticeship and what you love most about it?

I love working with the children and slowly becoming more confident in myself.

What accomplishment are you most proud of and why?

Completing my coursework, I have always struggled academically, but feel proud I have nearly finished.

In your opinion, what are the benefits of an apprenticeship?

I feel these are learning whilst you earn and being able to work on my self-confidence with the support of my assessor

What skills have you developed during your time as an apprentice?

My confidence, using my team work skills in a different environment, being able to communicate in various ways.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years? What are your future plans and aspirations?

I want to be working as an established nanny and potentially have my own children.

What advice would you give to someone considering an apprenticeship?

Plan your work well and use your time wisely. Help is always there for you.
