Aspire Training Team are delighted to reveal Toni Allen, Level 1 Learner at Bearwood Primary & Nursery School as our November 2019 Learner of the Month!
Toni started her Level 1 Childcare course in September and has been nominated by assessor Sarah Dennett after being impressed by the progress she has made in her confidence and skills:
“Toni is undertaking her level 1 Caring for Children course and since the start of the course I have seen Toni’s confidence grow immensely. She gives 100% when I meet with her for functional skills support and is making steady progress with this.”
Her class teacher Kate Gunstone – Pupil Premium and Attendance Leader has also recently said the following regarding Toni:
“Toni has increased in confidence this half term and is developing a good rapport with the children. Toni has a good understanding of our classroom routines and is able to undertake simple tasks with instruction. It has been lovely to observe Toni leading activities independently that she has observed myself or other members of staff leading with the children. She has the confidence to ask for support when needed and communicates about the sessions she is undertaking in college for the course”
It’s fantastic to see that Toni has made such great progress so quickly at the start of her course and we are certain that she will continue to progress throughout the rest of her course. So we are very pleased to announce Toni as our November 2019 Learner of the Month!
