About our Skills Bootcamp For Your Nursery 

Aspire Training Team is proud to offer an 8-week program designed to enhance your team’s skills and qualifications. This program includes live online group learning sessions, 1-1 support from our dedicated trainers, weekly placement within your Early Years setting, Level 1 Makaton training by our experienced trainer, assistance with DBS applications, and a relevant paediatric First Aid certificate. 

Absolutely free to join! 

Over the course of 8 weeks, your learners will take part in fun learning sessions designed to provide them with an introduction to childcare and help them understand more about how children learn and develop. They will spend one day a week on placement within your nursery where they will get the opportunity to test their practical skills and begin to form relationships with what will hopefully become the setting for their Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship. 

All taught sessions will be online, and they will need to attend an in-person First Aid training day at one of our three locations across Devon and Cornwall.

  • Introduction to theorists and philosophical approaches to how children learn and develop
  • How to support children’s transition to school including phonics – Letters & Sounds

What They Can Expect 

Our Early Years Skills Bootcamp is a short but compelling course designed to help them boost their skills, land a job, and start making money sooner. 

We’ve teamed up with top employers and local authorities to create this program. When they finish, they will have a fast track to our Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship, cutting down their learning time by up to six months and getting them into their dream job faster. We’ll also provide them with a full and relevant Paediatric First Aid certificate, so they will be ready to dive straight in within your nursery setting.  

Tailored assistance: they will enjoy personalised support and guidance throughout their course, ensuring they have all the resources and help they will need to excel. We will also support them by helping with CV writing and mock interviews to help them practice and prepare. We’ll also provide them with a full and relevant Paediatric First Aid certificate so they will be ready to dive straight in. We also provide the opportunity to complete online courses to support their continuing professional development in Food Hygiene and Food Allergens. They will also receive level 1 training in Makaton sign language from our experienced trainer.  

Assistance with their DBS application: We’ll take care of the costs and paperwork for their DBS application, allowing them to concentrate on their studies and fitting into your nursery environment. This support will help you by streamlining the onboarding process, reducing administrative burdens, and ensuring that new team members are quickly and efficiently integrated into your nursery.

When they finish, they will have a fast track to our Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship, cutting down on learning time and ensuring that they are ready to start an apprenticeship, experienced and prepared!

  • Applicants must have at least a Level 2 qualification in English and Maths (equivalent to a GCSE grade C/ grade 4)
