Level 3 Chef de Partie Apprenticeship

Aspire Training Team are offering a unique and tailored Chef de Partie Apprenticeship specifically designed for the Early Years and Schools sector. This apprenticeship will focus on the nutritionally balanced diet children need and the recipes and menus that are attractive to them.

The Chef de Partie Apprenticeship provides your team members with the knowledge and skills required to work in a kitchen as a chef de partie providing good, quality food for children and young people. They will learn fundamental and advanced cookery skills which can be transferred into all sectors of the catering industry, creating seasonal, nutritionally balanced dishes from around the world.

A chef de partie is responsible for running a specific section of the kitchen such as fish, grill, saute or vegetable. Also known as a station or section chef, the chef de partie reports to the senior chef and has a very important role in any kitchen.
In a large kitchen, this type of chef usually manages a small team of workers, which they must keep organised so that dishes go out on time and the work area remains clean and orderly. However, in smaller kitchens a chef de partie may work independently as the only person in their section.
Sustainability is a core theme of this apprenticeship including how meals are prepped and learning about the importance of local and ethical sourcing.
