Bournemouth based Hadland Care Group, Head Office for Aspire Training Team and Tops Day Nurseries took part in the Dorset Commuter Challenge during March 2019 and were delighted to have been awarded 1st place in their category.

The aim of the Dorset Commuter Challenge is to get as many people as possible commuting to work by walking, cycling, public transport, lift-sharing and many more. Not only does the alternative methods of getting to work promote well-being, but also sustainability; which is a huge focus for Aspire Training Team, Tops Day Nurseries and Hadland Care Group.
Aspire’s operations team also won the ‘Best Journey Photo’ category in the challenge, after car sharing to a meeting.
The results from the challenge showed that that the Aspire and Head Office Team saved a huge £551.21 from car sharing, walking and cycling, saved 337.884kg of CO2 and burnt 13828 calories… Which is the equivalent to 55 doughnuts!
