A video has been published by the ESFA, showing employers how to use pause & stop in the apprenticeship service to record a break in learning.
This video takes employers through the new measures relating to breaks in learning detailed in the apprenticeship guidance. It also describes why they might want to pause or stop an apprentice record in the apprenticeship service, and how to do it.
The video also explains the steps that training providers have to take to record apprentice “breaks in learning” through the Individualised Learner Record.
The Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education has also published an online FAQs.
The apprenticeship programme response to COVID-19 has been updated to include:
- New information on continuing training and end point assessment for furloughed apprentices.
- New information on pausing new funding audits.
- FAQs (Numbers 3, 8, 11, 15-18, 20, 22-24, 37-38 have been added or updated)
