Aspire Training Team, a training provider based in Bournemouth and who specialise in apprenticeships and short courses, has recently undergone an inspection by Matrix. The inspection assessed the quality standards for information advice and guidance services. We are pleased to announce Aspire have excelled in this assessment and have received a glowing report.
The report highlights how the team has implemented new ideas so staff have a higher level of awareness and proficiency in the services they provide.
The assessor was also impressed with the leadership and direction of the service. The training provider demonstrated effective leadership, and received positive feedback from staff on the level of support and development opportunities available to them.
Aspire Training Team has a great relationship with both the staff and learners. One learner said:
“I didn’t know much about apprenticeships but everything was explained to make sure it was what I wanted to do. The information I was given has more than matched my experience and I have been given information about progression and what I can do next since I started.”
Not only do Aspire Training Team train with their sister company Tops Day Nurseries, but also externally at sites across Dorset, Hampshire, Wiltshire, Devon and Somerset. An external businessperson commented:
“I used another provider previously but didn’t get the service or support for my apprentices. I was recommended Aspire and decided to use them based on their reputation. They have more than met my expectations – learners achieve in plenty of time, they have lots of support and extra help if they need it. We work together and communication is good. It’s a very positive relationship.”
Resources are made available for learners to access at a time that suits them. When an assessor goes out to assess the learner, the meeting is 1-to-1, ensuring the learner gets the full support and attention they may need. All new starters have a detailed induction plan that reflects their experience and knowledge and is bespoke to their personal needs.
A substantial proportion of staff have progressed onto senior roles with Aspire Training Team and the performance data has been consistently above the national average for the past three years.
