Aspire Training Team are delighted to announce Katie Brown from Alphabet Nursery as our September 2018 Learner of the Month after being nominated by her manager Michaela Pond!
Katie started her Level 3 through Aspire back in January and has continued to grow and progress in her role at Alphabet and has become a huge part of their team.
“I am delighted with the progress that Katie is making at Alphabet Nursery working in our baby unit with children 3 months – 2 years old.
Katie has taken on key-children and is presenting beautiful folders which have appropriate next steps. Katie knows all of the routines and is a very organised and capable member of the team. I am particularly impressed with the help and support Katie has given to the baby unit whilst her supervisor has been away on holiday for 2 months, Katie has worked extremely well with various supervisors to ensure the smooth running of the unit with the support of the manager and has excelled in all areas of her job description and more!! Katie has even taken on the responsibility of creating key-person boards for the unit so that the new children’s parents would be aware of who the staff were.
I am confident that Katie will continue to develop her career in childcare and it is lovely to see such passion and commitment to her role here at Alphabet.
