Kayleigh started as a level 1 student with Aspire Training Team in September 2014 after finding out about it from her school’s career fair.
Kayleigh liked the idea of the practical learning style included in the level 1 programme and the local work experience that the programme included.
Kayleigh was on programme for 10 months where she attended her work placement 3 days a week and really enjoyed getting to know the staff and children. Kayleigh often supported the nursery on trips and particularly enjoyed supporting ‘Tops Forest School’.
Kayleigh found the weekly workshops with other level 1 students helpful and says this is where she learned everything she needed to, to support her work experience and made many friends.
Kayleigh was a valued member of the team and successfully then secured herself an apprenticeship in the same nursery.
Kayleigh has now completed her Level 2 and started her Level 3 in March this year, her career goal is to become a childrens sports coach.
