Aspire Training Team are delighted to reveal Lucia Apter at Tops Day Nurseries Newport as our April 2019 Learner of the Month!
Lucia started her Level 2 Childcare qualification back in July 2018 after being taken on as an apprentice within the nursery. Since starting her apprenticeship Lucia has really left an impression on the team at the nursery with her passion and dedication to her studies and role within the nursery. Nursery Manager Sarah has been especially impressed, going on to say:
“I would like to nominate Lucia because of her brilliant progress, commitment and exceptional skills. Lucia is currently completing her apprenticeship and was observed by a member of the NDNA judging panel for nursery team of the year. Lucia did a circle time activity in the Investigators room, all children were fully engaged, and Lucia made sure that all children’s needs were considered so that all abilities could participate. The judge commented on how well Lucia had done and how lovely it was to see all the children having fun.
Lucia had also stepped up to run the Investigators room when room manager was on holiday and did an amazing job.
I feel that Lucia should get recognition for her amazing skills and commitment.”
Lucia is clearly flourishing in her role at the nursery and it is great to see such lovely comments from her manager. With that in mind, we are very pleased to announce Lucia as our April 2019 Learner of the Month!
