I am a qualified assessor. I joined the Aspire training team in November 2017. I worked in a Nursery for 9 years and I have had 10 Years’ experience working with children from 0-5. I started off as an apprentice gaining my level 2 and wanted to further my development and career so, I then completed my level 3 becoming a room leader. After a few years, I completed the Level 5 and I then became the assistant Deputy Manager where I developed my management and leadership skills. Throughout my career, I particularly enjoyed mentoring staff and learners. As time went on I decided I wanted to become an assessor and do this on a full-time basis. I shadowed assessors using various methods of assessment and e-portfolios, completing the Assessors Award.
I then found that Aspire was looking for an assessor to join their expanding family. I love Aspires ethos and how supportive they are and how they ensure their learners come first!
