Why did you choose an apprenticeship?
I wanted to change my field of work.
What do you love the most about your apprenticeship?
I like that I get to learn whilst being paid.
What accomplishment are you most proud of and why?
That I have gained so much knowledge in such a short space of time. It is quite daunting starting out anew in a role you have never done before and I feel like I have exceeded my own expectations.
In your opinion, what are the benefits of an apprenticeship?
Being paid whilst you learn. Your learning does not stop once the apprenticeship is finished as you have the opportunity to go further.
What skills have you develop during your time as an apprentice?
I have become more organised
A lot more patient
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
In 10 years I would like to be training apprentices or in a admin managerial role
What advice would you give to someone considering an apprenticeship?
Go for it. The pay is not amazing but the skills you are taught are life long and it will open many doors to many different job opportunities and give you the tools you need to be successful.
