Non-levy employer reservation level

During the 21/22 financial year, the UK Government granted an additional allowance to create 10 new funding reservations for employers to register apprentices. However, this new allowance process is not being repeated with the 22/23 financial year.

Instead, non-levy employers will need to use their previous allowance of 10 funding reservations to secure funding for new apprenticeships.

Non-levy employer reservation levels

In the scenario that an employer has used their full allowance of reservations, they will still be able to recruit new apprentices through the process of a levy transfer. This is where levy-paying companies can ‘donate’ their unused levy funds to other organisations to cover apprenticeship training costs.
