Some of currently learners have taken part in a Q&A, sharing their experiences of studying with Aspire Training Team. Kirsten Johnson is currently undertaking her L2 intermediate childcare apprenticeship.
Can you introduce your company, what is your job role?
My job role is primarily helping round the nursery whilst also learning on my level 2 course. I help at snack, lunch and tea times, making sure the children are in a safe environment and developing relationships with children and colleagues.
What do you plan to do after your apprenticeship?
I hope to continue and hopefully get my level 3 qualification.
What are the benefits of being an apprentice?
I am learning and picking up lots of new things from my colleagues which is really helping me on my course.
What advice would you give others thinking about doing an apprenticeship/training with Aspire
I would advise others to be confident when learning because it’s likely to be your first time in that environment.
