This is an opportunity to get paid whilst working towards a recognised qualification. The Intermediate programme provides the knowledge and skills required to work in a business setting at an assistant level.

The Intermediate Business & Administration Apprenticeship is designed with a variety of administrative roles in mind, including receptionists, junior legal assistants and any role involving supporting the organisation in terms of administration. When you successfully complete your Business & Administration Intermediate Level Apprenticeship, you will qualify with a Level 2 Diploma in Business Administration. You will also have valuable functional skills qualifications in maths, English & ICT, solid references, some great colleagues and positive experiences behind you.
Mandatory units on the Business & Administration level 2 include:
- Communication in a business environment
- Understanding employer organisations
- Principles of providing administrative services
- Principles of business document production and information management
- Manage personal performance and development
- Develop working relationships with colleagues
A Business & Administration Intermediate Level Apprenticeship is an investment in the skills you need to succeed in any business environment. As a business & administration assistant, your role could include any of the following:
- Dealing with incoming and outgoing post
- Answering telephone, email and social media enquiries
- Helping with the organisation of meetings and events
- Taking meeting notes

Who is this course for?
This qualification will suit you if you are just starting your career in administration, or if you already have some administrative experience, and want to show that you have the skills to take on important responsibilities – such as managing diary systems, preparing notes for meetings and dealing with clients.
