Since 2016, Aspire Training Team have presented a monthly award known as the “Hall of Fame” where learners were nominated by their line managers and assessors each month. However starting this month our monthly award will now be known as the “Aspire Learner of the Month” and the “Hall of Fame” will now become be an annual award chosen from the winners of the Learner of the Month awards.
With this in mind, Aspire Training Team are delighted to reveal Rebecca Smith from Giggles Nursery as our August 2018 Learner of the Month after being nominated by her manager Laura Clark!
Rebecca started her Level 3 through Aspire back in February of this year and has been a fantastic learner for Aspire and a brilliant member of the team at Giggles! Rebecca shows great enthusiasm, thirst for knowledge and a real aspiration to progress in her career in childcare.
“Since starting with Giggles nursery, Becca has always come across as professional, a team worker and as having an enthusiasm for learning the knowledge of what makes a good practitioner.
Becca will always teach others her knowledge and work to improve herself, she has a thirst for working with SEN children and pro-actively started linking with our main SENCO to see how she could help and if she could identify anyone within the 2 year old room.
Becca has lead the process in changing the 2 year old room layout to enhance the learning of the children and assisted in the layout of the new SENCO room. Once Becca has gained her level 3, she will be undertaking the SENCO course and become a SENCO within the nursery.” – Laura Clark, Manager
With such wonderful comments from her manager, it is clear that Rebecca’s desire and passion for childcare really shines at Giggles. This is why we are very pleased to announce Rebecca as our August 2018 Learner of the Month!
