When I started my apprenticeship I had not long finished school. I signed up with Aspire to complete my level 2 in childcare and the support I receive is fantastic.
Since starting my apprenticeship I feel that my confidence as a person has grown. I now find it easier talking in bigger groups, on the phone and 1-1 conversations.
I have an amazing sense of accomplishment; when I think to when I started I had few responsibilities whereas now I am privileged enough to have my own Key Child.
I feel I have accomplished so much already. I am hard working, punctual and reliable. I feel I am succeeding in my role of a childcare apprentice and already developing qualities that are shown in senior nursery assistants.
This is not just a job/apprenticeship to me, it is a genuine pleasure to come to work.
