Aspire Training Team are delighted to be able to announce that we are now able to offer some fully funded single course units across the Education, Digital, and Health and Social Care sectors.
With funding provided by the European Social Fund as part of the Somerset Skill Up Springboard Project by Somerset County Council, these courses can be accessed by anyone in employment or who is self-employed working in the Somerset area. They are designed to be kept short and can be completed in between 4-10 hours depending on the unit chosen.
There really is something for everybody with courses covering everything from challenging behaviour and Autism through to customer service and team-leading. Some of our most popular units are already proving to be about the climate and environmental awareness.
Broken down into units only means these courses available are not industry-specific and can be useful across many sectors. Our 4 single-unit courses for Diabetes for example are not just proving to be popular within the health and social care sector but also with Nurseries and Pre School as well.
All of our single-unit courses are delivered online, they are accredited by NCFE Cache and a certificate is awarded at the end allowing you to evidence your new qualification.
A large proportion of our customers really enjoy completing their unit and it gives them the springboard to go on to take advantage of funding to complete other whole qualifications in full.
We often speak to people who have not completed any formal training for a long time, we understand that sometimes people can be anxious to commit, this is the exact reason why we decided to offer these courses and why Somerset County Council are funding this project. There is no better way to get back into training than to start with a short course that will either improve your knowledge on an existing subject or even teach you some totally new skills that won’t just benefit you at work but in everyday life as well.
