As National Apprenticeship Week 2016 comes to an end, Aspire Training Team would like to say an extra special thank you to all of our apprentices for all of the hard work they put into their work and education when working towards their qualifications.
This week, assessors, tutors and managers from all over Dorset, Hampshire and Somerset have been handing out thank you gifts to all of our apprentices and learners. Every year the week increases in popularity; National Apprenticeship Week 2015 was a huge success where Aspire gifted mugs to apprentices as a thank you. This year was just as successful for Aspire which saw us giving gifts of piggy banks to our apprentices, as well as launching two new videos in celebration of the theme ‘rising to the top.’ It’s been publicised recently that financial planning is not taught enough to youngsters, and so the piggy banks were chosen are a symbol for our apprentices to take care of their money and help their savings also rise to the top!
Here is what some of our apprentices said when we asked them what position they would like to ‘rise’ to:
“I would like to become a play therapist once I have completed my level 3.” Chloe, Childcare Apprentice
“I want to work in a school as a year 1 teaching assistant.” Natalie, Childcare Apprentice
“Once completed, I would like to use my qualification to go into nursing.”- Emmalie, Health and Social Care apprentice
“I would like to progress on to a level 5 qualification and get promoted to a more senior role.” Jodie, Level 3 Childcare Apprentice
“I would like to become fully qualified and progress on to a level 3” Emma, Business Admin Apprentice
