In 2022, Aspire Training Team partnered with Ecologi. We pledged to plant 25 trees for every new employer we work with, to help stop rising temperatures and end climate change. The trees will be planted in Madagascar, an island country in the Indian Ocean. Madagascar is considered to be a biodiversity hotspot, and over 90% of its wildlife is found nowhere else in the world. In Recent years, large areas of Madagascar’s forests have been destroyed, leaving animals and local people with no homes and very little farm land. Ecologi began supporting this project in 2021 and so far have funded the planting of over 48.8 million trees, responsible for reducing 2.2 million tonnes of CO2 from the atmosphere!
